Traveling to Australia in November: Should I exchange my money now?

Zinski asked:

I live in the U.S. I’m traveling to Australia in November. I don’t know much about money and exchange rates.

It looks like there is a bullish trend now which I think means the AUD is getting stronger so my money will be worth less in November.

Is it a smart decision to cash in @ the 1.25 to 1 AUD rate now?
Say that by November the USD is only 1.05 to AUD 1…Does this mean my money will be worth more??
