The Us and Canadian Dollar are about the same, you can trade monies at Thomas Cook or at the Border at the Kiosks, either way yiu will pay a Fee, try your local bank, you will probably pay a lower fee. Enjoy your trip!

My bank that will give canadian change with the dollar is about even still with the border will give canadian change with the us funds to canadian before you can change with the border will take us dollar depending on where in canada you are places closer to the exchange rate if there is any.
