Is Now A Good Time To Exchange American Money To Canadian?
October 31st, 2009 | by mon-ex |dontpanic_109711 asked:
I have a lot of American money that I need to exchange into Canadian. It isn’t an emergency - it can wait. But I was wondering now with the condition of the American dollar, should I wait? Do you think in the near future (a few months) it will get any better?

I know about different places having different exchange rates, but I’m talking about in general.
Thanks in advance for any help!

With interest rates near rock bottom, I would wait a little more. The Bank of Canada is expected to make more rate cuts in March.
At least wait to see how the price of crude oil does. More often than not, as oil goes up, the Canadian Dollar gets stronger against the U.S. Dollar.
