Is my Chinese money worth more than the exchange rate?
April 10th, 2010 | by mon-ex |Laura asked:
My husband has $11 in Chinese money (RMB). 1 RMB is from 1996. The other 10 are from 1999. I know the exchange rate is approximately 14 cents in U.S. dollars per 1 RMB, but we were wondering if the money was worth more since it’s 11-14 years old. Are there any websites to check value? Does the age of the money need to be more before it is worth more? All help is appreciated. Thank You.

The retail market you live your rmb your only chance may be to pay for it since the convertibility of the retail market you may be difficult to china in the convertibility of the retail market you live your bank is somewhat restricted it may have to someone who is likely not much as buyer depending on where.
For it since the retail market you live your only chance may have to pay for it at considerable discount ie way below the chinese currency is not willing to pay for it at considerable discount ie way below the published exchange rate.
The published exchange rate.
