How do exchange companies make money?

I was wondering how exchange companies, like the Intercontinental exchange, makes money; Wikipedia said they had a revenue of $314 million. I was wondering more specifically with their OTC markets.

And also, commodities are traded through them so do they generate a higher profit if the commodities are trading higher?
