do you get a better exchange rate when you exchange more money?

I am going on holiday to Nice (southern france) and was wondering how to get the best exchange rate? I am going with 5 other friends and we need to exchange £320 each so £1920 all together (6*320).
If we exchanged together would it be better? Or is it the same no matter how much you exchange? Also if you do get a better exchange rate with more money, how much do you need to exchange???
Would appreciate any answers, suggestions etc. : )
