I went to the bank today and ask for a money order, unfortunately, i forgot to tell the teller that it not supposed to be a personal money order, Can i still exchange it for a cashier’s check? and if not, what will happen to the amount of money in my personal money order if I don’t use it?

take it back to the bank and explain your dilemma, they will straighten it out. if you do nothing, the bank will do nothing and the money is already spent (deducted from your account)
