About money exchange and maestro card in Canada?

I’m flying from Germany to Canada (Toronto) and I’d like to know if I can use my ‘maestro’ bank card at a cash machine and if I can exchange money anywhere on Friday evening (after 9 p. m.).
I mean, if I can do all this after arriving in Canada.

    The machine is working its available 24 hours day.
