According to my attorney this is the most viable solution at this time. I don’t agree, that plus I have no way of coming up with the amount they are requesting. I need advise… Please help.

    First of all, only the DA can drop the charges. Also it is illegal, which means your attorney is one of those that make the whole profession look bad. You and your attorney should go to the DA and tell the prosecutor, what happened, in regards to the victim. Your case should be dropped, or charges should be lessened.
